I guess my criticism is more geared toward the study than this article. But I still think maybe the framing of the article should have been centered on how absurd the “loneliness” claim is, rather than an extended summary that only begins to touch on the real reasons. But at least you brought them into the discussion.

Gee, younger people are unhappy after Boomers took a golden opportunity in post-war America, gorged themselves on it, broke open every piggy bank ever and want younger generations to fill in the pay gaps, all while telling them that they (Boomers) need to keep their C-suite jobs while outsourcing/not increasing

millenials gotta work more to have less, with 0 expectations of being able to have/support a family and barely themselves, and no chance of owning anything. Such a mystery why millenials are unhappy

Seriously, I can’t believe loneliness was half the article’s focus. I suppose I shouldn’t expect anything more from this garbage web site.

The loneliness comment made me think the study was written by old people who complain about there being too many deviants. Is it really that hard to see why happiness is going down while housing/education/healthcare skyrocket relative to wages and our political discourse revolves around 80-year-old geriatrics that can

This article talks a lot about loneliness before touching on income inequality, finally in paragraph 12. Why aren’t millennials and Gen Z as happy as older people? Because they can’t afford things, their pay is lower, their expenses are higher, and they feel like they’re living through a slow-walked apocalypse while

Q: What do Christmas and Sydney Sweeney’s boobs have in common?”

People are saying that Turner D. Century is the linchpin of the Spider-Verse and a film featuring him is a masterpiece in waiting. Go for it Sony, these not Spider-Man movies couldn’t get any worse...

Q: What do Christmas and Sydney Sweeney’s boobs have in common?

And does it feature many of the concepts and characters as Across the Spider-Verse? It has that movie’s version of Madame Webb—Dakota Johnson’s character, which is supposed to make the elderly comics version relevant; it has Sweeney’s character, who in the comics becomes the second Madame Webb (and before that Arachne

I am LOVING watching all this web3 trash going down the drain. Keep it going please.

When I go shopping at the grocery store with my young daughter and I go down the shampoo aisle I make management shut off all the lights and put a bag over her head so she can’t see the contraceptives. By doing so I am POSITIVE that her vagina won’t function until she’s married.

Yeah, the sentence “But Civil War is not about the military, or the President, or the origins of this particular conflict” made me think, “so we’ll just skip right over the racism, misogyny, bigotry and capitalist exploitation that’s fueling our current and historical rifts? OK then. I’m sure it’s super insightful

Considering criticism of TikTok, Bytedance, the algorithm, and data protection began BEFORE Hamas attacked Israel - These do not seem related. Everything is not about Israel / Palestine.

Banning an app isn’t a 1st amendment violation. You are free to say whatever you want on any similar social media site that isn’t owned and controlled by the Chinese Communist Party, which utilizes its algorithm to push videos stoking social division in the USA to our own citizen’s phones.

It’s wild how the person you’re responding to doesn’t understand that “but it’s okay because they DESERVE it” is exactly what rape apologists believe. They just draw the line at who “deserves it” differently.

Look, we can talk about the death penalty. But there is no “rape penalty” - and there shouldn’t be. There shouldn’t be, because it then normalizes rape, a thing which is not normal and has no justification ever. I understand the hate and revulsion, I feel it myself. But this narrative of “haha, you’ll go to jail and
