Exactly. Aggregate scores are meaningless. Reviews are best used when you pick a few people that share similar tastes with you.

Yeah I agree, Flight Simulator is particularly niche and most reviews would come from people that like those types of games. All Soulsborne games score heavily but they still don’t interest me and if BotW and TotK couldn’t get me to buy a Switch than no game could.

Those aren’t really all that good and I don’t really care about ad populum arguments. They are meaningless.

I think its more of a statement about the quality of games put out by Microsoft over the last few years.
