Texans vote in favor of giving more money to fossil fuel and making it harder to actually fix the grid (because it’s cannot be used for anything renewable to include energy storage).

A while back they removed some cross-dressing NPCs from the outside of a club because the “joke” was “look at these people, they’re freaks.”  I think there’s plenty of things left for R* to satirize without resorting to the very lazy route of making LGBTQ identities into punchlines.

I look forward to our elected officials using these funds to reward their campaign contributors or give fat contracts to their friends and family. Not holding my breath if it turns out the grid gets fixed for “red” areas but not much was done for the “blue” areas of Texas.

Except they didn’t. They voted to provide billions of dollars to oil and gas companies in the hope this will actually increase production to prevent the grid from failing. Like other handouts there is no guarantee this will actually happen as most likely large amounts of these loans will just be pocketed by O&G

Nobody said that but Bloomberg, known for not getting much right.
That being said, it likely has more to do with bad stereotyping than anything else. Which is fine. That’s never what made the games fun to play in the first place

I’m constantly amazed by that quote and his subsequent actions He saw the train coming down the tracks and intentionally walked in front of it. And doesn’t seem to regret a second of getting splattered all over the road.

They’ve already done away with most of the stereotypes in the games, so probably just making sure the female characters are given more depth rather than just being either shrill or walking penis receptacles.

Since adolescence, I have relentlessly worked to train my body to play an alarming amount of GTA VI.

We had someone running for school board who had spent the past year or so calling all the teachers in the district groomers because the book Gender Queer was available in the library. Last week it came out that he had impregnated a 15 year old when he was 20 or 21. And he still almost won his election.

Ohio here. Super happy with how #1 and #2 turned out. Incumbents won on the school board, which means we’re still stuck with one cunt from Moms For Liberty. I’m surprised the new school levy didn’t pass, but they were also super sketch about how they came up with the number outside of “roofs” so I guess it makes sense.

It’ll be fun watching him fall on his face on the national stage in the lead up to 2028.

I’m more interested myself in if democrats are learning from it. Pro choice appears to be a almost certain path to victory, so get on board and be sure to paint your opponent as an absolute monster and make them wear it. Even in noncompetitive districts.

“We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto...ONLINE DLC!”

The last thing the GOP ever needed was the end of Roe.

It’s fun watching them try to square this circle. They can’t talk about abortion anymore. The one thing they always had in their pocket as a sure fire way to motivate their base is gone. And they are only now discovering just how deeply unpopular these policies are because they never had to worry before Roe V Wade

(Virginia voter here)

Will they learn from this, the 300th lesson?  Somehow, I highly doubt it ... which is fine with me because it means the GOP will just continue to lose any races which are truly competitive and not gerrymandered to hell  and back.

This is great.

Every Democrat should run on abortion.

Good.
