I’ve grown really tired of big action sequences, but I was riveted by this one. I didn’t make it very far into the game (I’m going to try again once the season is over), so I didn’t know what was coming.

 Nope, Irish ghost episode.

I wonder if they’re also trying to hack together some Pokemon Home integration. That’s probably more work than they’re willing to do (plus it’d have to be a joint venture with Game Freak), but it would be really cool.

Still waiting on Mario Party 3. And Pokemon Stadium.

I wish we could see some remasters of the very old games. My understanding of Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee was that they were really simplified versions of the early games. I’d love to see the QoL and wandering Pokemon of Sword/Shield/Scarlet/Violet in a redone Blue/Red (or just do Gold/Silver but have the full Kanto in the

Still do.

One thing worth mentioning about the coming post-antibiotics world is bacteriophages. Basically, viruses that attack specific bacteria.

“Kevin Costner died on the way back to his home planet.”

Anakin: “There’s a hidden benefit to Subway adding deli slicers to every store, though. Pre-sliced meat is more expensive to order than whole hunks of deli meat—the convenience costs extra—which means Subway stands to save a lot of money by investing in slicers.”

Reality shows are definitely fake (they have writers), but this strikes me as more of a game show, which have very strict laws after the quiz show scandals of the ‘50s. I wonder how they’re navigating that from a legal standpoint.

(400+ people in a confined space with studio lighting? Awful),

I’m only about a half hour in, and I agree with Dan’s assessment.

I definitely use Spider-Man for “we’re playing the same deck.” Especially when it’s a discard deck and one or both of us throw down Moon Knight and inadvertently help each other.

I’ll definitely throw up the thumbs up when I see my opponent’s card not go off the way they wanted to. I consider that to just be good natured ribbing.

Be warned that the episodes are often 2+ hours, and there’s usually more than one episode a week. But for keeping track of what is going on in the world of InfoWars, it’s the best.

Or any episode of the podcast Knowledge Fight. Speaking of, veeeery much looking forward to the next episode, given that all these texts are out.

It’s not always artificial. A lot of the time the post production on a show isn’t finished by the time the first episode airs.

You’re missing the point. Yeah, I could play pretend that it’s weekly. But reviews still won’t come out weekly. I can’t have a water-cooler chat weekly. I can’t go online and speculate about what’s going to happen weekly.

Good to know! Still incredibly stupid that I need an additional app.

Seriously. They’ve completely destroyed word of mouth. You can’t talk about these shows with anyone unless you’ve both finished it. And there’s no internet buzz. It seemed like there was a new Andor article on The AV Club or Gizmodo almost every day that the show was on.
