I was imagining them sounding the way he sings the word "yellow" in the song of the same name.
Yup, that was indoors.
Actually, I found it to be rather easy to grow, though I wasn't very hardcore about it. I put the seeds into pots of dirt, watered them daily for a week with a little organic fertilizer (meant for roses, iirc), and made sure they got 12 hours of sun/12 hours of dark. I had an east-facing window, so they were pretty…
My hope is to be allowed to grow a few little plants for personal use without hassle. As a green-thumb, it's such a satisfying plant to grow.
My clay mushroom jar. It's for storing them. It extends the life of mushrooms by weeks. It's nuts how useful it is. I love it. I wish it was bigger. My local grocery store sucks and cannot be relied on to have mushrooms I like from week to week, so being able to buy them and keep them fresh for a little longer is huge.
I have two grinders now—a burr grinder just for coffee, and an older blade-style coffee grinder that saw much use chopping buds many years ago but only grinds spices these days :P
Thanks. I do too. It's really upsetting to be just barely past the first year of marriage and thinking, "Shit, have I made a terrible mistake?"
OMGYES WITH BIDEN YES.
Yeah...in the time that's elapsed between my original comment and now, I made it clear to him that he needs to get it together if he expects the marriage to survive at all. He's had lots of time to learn. Now it's just excuses, and my life would be far better without those.
That's smart. My inner paranoid would worry that I might bump into them again and they'd get up in my face about not returning their call(s), but it's still a nice solution.
I suspect it's a bit of all those things. For myself, I don't know the rules, and I don't know anyone who does, so watching it for anything beyond the admiration of pure athleticism can be an exercise in frustration. That's not to say that I can't watch a sport by myself and figure it out, but I have to really love it…
"Because it's not enough to sit down and just watch a game and enjoy it" YES! The bar feels a lot higher for us than for some guy who says, "Yeah, I like $sport." I don't doubt that sometimes guys get grilled for specifics, but I'd wager it's usually when there's something antagonistic already in play between the two…
"Seriously? Another Raiders game? I could be watching the Broncos..."
"What's your criteria/bar for fandom?"
No.
I'm glad that it seems that they're doing a good job of it thus far. I was nervous it would be stupid and transphobic.
A JOB?! *shoves all the girls* Hey. How you doin'?
