How many Americans do you think are even remotely familiar with minstrel show art? I would guess a tiny percentage. I think we are being wildly generous in assuming the vast majority of Americans have enough education in this area of history to identify these D&D characters as racist caricatures.

the models are passable for switch. what really gets me is the trash, unstylized environments.

The fear of permadeath and rock paper scissors combat has always been my impression of FE.

it’s really difficult for me to get over the early 2000's textures and geometry in this game. They should have just animed the whole thing like in Disgaea cause as much as I like FE this game visually looks like shit.
