Some brands of almond milk have a higher percentage of calcium per cup than dairy milk. It also doesn't expire nearly as quickly, IME.

I was musing the other day how fruits are one of the only things we eat that are actually MADE to be eaten—that is, the organism that makes it “wants” it to be eaten. Many plants’ fruits have evolved to be sweet and yummy in order to tempt animals to eat them and distribute their seeds.

I see what you’re saying, but I think that, as a society, we put a lot of stress on “deliberate” vs “incidental/accidental.” Not just about vegetarianism, but we see it here because a LOT of core ideologies come out around food.
