This is not a "bug." It is a "feature."

Most warranties have an expiration date regardless of miles.

sounds like it will be under warranty forever. how could a manufacturer ever deny your claim if the odometer failed under warranty? Why would any owner actually get this fixed?

I'm typing this from the 13th floor right now. So not everyone is that superstitious

Not really, I am used to it by now,

I would guess the ECU/BCM/whatever is still keeping track of the proper mileage, but the cluster has an issue that prevents it from displaying the proper mileage.

I had a 2011 Fiesta for 2 years and it was pretty great. It had the crappy DCT but even with that it was a solid owner experience. It drove fine, was great to park, had enough options for the segment and the only thing that ever went wrong was needing a battery replacement. I bet the Fiesta STs are a fun little

Perhaps, but when you NEED a car (old one is irreparable, lease is up, crash, etc), waiting is a difficult proposition. Do you buy something you don’t really want at today’s inflated prices and risk losing a lot in a few years when you sell? Do you try to cough up $4k for that new engine on a car worth less than that,

Lol you forgot to change your copy paste between your two smurf accounts dude.

People don’t want to do that. Most people anyway*. Until charging an EV takes as long as filling up with a tank of gas, EVs will never be mainstream.

Wait! Isn’t the specific dick one has chosen to suck relevant?

I had no idea they were serving goat at Bob Evans these days.

Remember the sidekick from that old Tim Allen show, Home Improvement? It’s like him in restaurant form for looks, but with Tim Allen’s cooking ability.

The fuck is a bob evans?

Tell us more about the goat. :)

My job involves coordinating a bunch of stuff at once and basically just solving problems all day. I have to explain at least once a month to coworkers that if everything ran smoothly and there were no problems then we wouldn’t have jobs at all.

I worked in factories for most of my career. Luckily I was in management because if I was on the floor I wouldn’t have lasted a week.

I worked with factories - as an engineer - but not automated ones. A buddy of mine worked on those, dealing with transport systems and bemoaned the number of times someone wanted a smoke break and literally used a wrench to signal that desire. It was big stuff - he said one transport snagged an I-beam and bent it

I had a subaru impreza outback sport with the badge on the back hatch ever so slightly off horizontal. So little that there was only a slight pressure in the back of my head saying”something seems off...” just enough to be utterly, gaslightingly maddening once I really saw it.

The tweet complains about quality control while sharing a picture of an issue found during... a quality control process.
