Sadly, the US economy thrives on these kind of abusive cultures: Amazon, Silicon Valley(Big Tech), etc. A healthy working environment often harbors higher costs, and no greedy CEO wants that, especially if they want to “win capitalism”. Never trust a wealthy person for their moral/ethics.

Fuck every single manager and CEO and director in power who chose to put profits before their employee’s well-being. And fuck them specifically for not taking any action to create a fair and respectful working environment.

This is just the Blizzard side of the house.  The Activision side is gonna make this shitshow look like a non-playable demo.

Their new look and growth into their identity is genuinely awesome.

As anyone really surprised they failed their female employees especially with how they designed clothes on female characters.

Isn’t it just amazing how many senior, powerful execs didn’t do anything actively awful themselves, but are so willing to admit to being guilty of not noticing other people doing horrible things?

I think I’m honestly just done with Blizzard, I was planning to get overwatch 2 cause I love the game but the fact that the allegations from the lawsuit were not refusted means that shit is real and horrifying and I can’t support it in any way.

Brack, the current president ran in the same circles as Afrasiabi and Kaplan in their EQ days. Morhaime and Metzen brought them during the development of WoW.

Even if some of the old guard is gone, they obviously allowed things to fall into place to allow this kind of systemic thing to happen at their company.
