A little more likely would be a bases loaded 2-5-4 triple play (pop fly close to the plate). Wouldn’t be much different from a 3-4-3 or around-the-horn DP (2 throws ~180ft in total), which happen all the time. Of course a slow runner on 1st helps.

The can passes in front of white hat guy though so if it came from behind then the guy must’ve reached in between him and the “accused” and then hucked it upwards, which you’d think would’ve caused a huge flinch from white hat guy and would’ve caused both of them to turn around.

You missed the most damning eye lines (green arrows). They’re smirking and looking right at the guy (I think so is the guy in the red oval). This was certainly a guy planning on getting away with it (ducking and vacating the area).
