It’s great to hear that you’re a game designer who knows the ins and outs of good game design! Once your game is released, you’ll have to tell us the name so we can find out if it’s a fraction as good as Divinity: Original Sin 2!

The developers most likely did not intend for this combo to happen. So to say it’s “bad game design” is a bit much. In a massive game like this with millions of combinations of options they can only catch so many game-breaking bugs or tactics before the game is released.

Yes, it’s been pretty bad, considering it’s not even that complex of an image you are rendering, I thought it maybe had something to do with my internet conection, but now, it’s the console’s UI itself.

These guys are just too close to their product. I’ve worked with them before as I work in marketing/advertising for games. They can’t take any sort of criticism at all because invariably they take it as an attack on themselves.

And I understand that. I understand working on something at 2 in the morning when you have

Usually when they screw in something, they just release a Zelda or Mario trailer, and all the anger vanish, at least on fanboys IMO

Because they have sole control over a lot of beloved IPs. If anyone was allowed to make a Zelda, Mario, Star Fox, etc. game, they would have gone out of business a long time ago.

What surprised me the most was that a lot of videos that I saw about how bad the Switch presentation was ended with a “I preordered mine”.
At this point I’m accepting the fact that Nintendo is eternal. They could literally release a blank piece of paper and they would still survive.

Because Nintendo. The gymnastics I’m watching people (including some in game media) do to justify some of the baffling and anti-consumer decisions Nintendo has made regarding the Switch is truly a sight to behold. It’s actually pretty fun.

I don’t understand how Nintendo keeps getting away with their archaic account system and policies, and making people rebuy the same old VC games. It’s 2017 and they still don’t have a proper unified account system.

Exactly. I burn my penis every day and it looks nothing like this.

Tired of giving the fans the finger after so many years, Capcom has decided to give them the dick instead. A classy move, to be sure.

reminds me of Homer getting disqualified cause in the space marked “don’t write here”, he wrote “Okay”

That control scheme does not sound intuitive. It sounds bad. Learning a bad control scheme to make a game work probably means the game isn’t very good.

My problem with Nintendo is every system has a dumb gimmick I don’t care for

Ahh man, I loved that game. It was easy to make fun of a game where posessing a dog’s food dish to rattle it around was a game mechanic, but if you were put off by that, you missed out. (The microscope scare is my personal favorite.)

Man I loved the crap out of Geist. Especially the multiplayer.

Reminds me of Geist. Member that game?

Wow, did someone chew you out for saying something stupid once, and now you feel like you’re being censored? Grow up.

The game came out YEARS ago, has absolutely no microtransactions, and you still want a free class?
