I didn't believe it at first either, but it works. Once you've recovered a bit feel free to take a normal scented soap shower. BUT don't use soap or any scrubbies or loofas when rinsing off the vinegar. Your skin is still a bit tender, needs time to recover.

Personal experience will have to do...

White Vinegar, shower with a gallon bottle of white vinegar as soon as you know it's a burn. Let it set in and rinse with water no soap.
