Same. Top Gun was my dad’s favorite movie, not mine. I definitely saw it, but it wasn’t burned into my brain.

I’ve seen portions of Top Gun on streaming services and tv over the years as well as general pop-culture posts about the movie. Would not know the show well enough to figure out the intros are similar

Being in the target demographic for Mass Effect, I didn’t watch the original Top Gun until a week before Maverick came out. My connection to the original movie was based off all the references other works made about Top Gun.

Yeah, if you’re a Millenial - probably the main age demographic that played the original Mass Effect - your memories of Top Gun were mostly Tomcats going zoom, with maybe a little bit of shirtless volleyball and ‘Take My Breath Away’.  Not the intro text.

That update fromUnstable Diffusion is super gross. What are they creating. AI generated art doesn’t create anything out of nothing. It needs art to exist. you’re not creating, you’re stealing.

I get it can be difficult to understand when you lack the imagination and expertise to make something yourself.
