These movies really need to introduce an “impetus” thing for the people who stay in the situation beyond all reason. The clowns or the occult guy or whoever “pick” someone with more ambition than sense to be drawn to the house so they can feast on souls. That way, it explains LITERALLY WHY THESE MOVIES KEEP HAPPENING.…

Literally more the merrier. Eccleston in a voice cameo as a bank manager asking where their payment is! Arthur Darvill as an awkward street sweeper who never manages to get an actual word in edgewise! Catherine Tate as The Landlady! Just throw in everyone and have a great time, like it’s a mid-2010s Adam Sandler movie!

And Ncuti Gatwa is the super nice guy who’s moving in afterwards!
