I don’t think you’re gonna find a single fan that will be mad that they’re getting only a modest bump. Support the show, but keep ‘em scrappy, you know? You don’t need millions and millions to make a great show, but a bit of extra cash to sand off the edges doesn’t hurt, right?

Just so we make sure all corporations look bad, the FTC didn’t freak out over a “might”. They literally cited Starfield going console exclusive as a reason why they didn’t think MS would stick to their word (or something close to that, I haven’t re-read anything). Long and short is, they all suck. 

Honestly, the last year and change has, finally, hopefully, proved to WotC and Hasbro that they can’t pull off these kinds of consumer-unfriendly moves with such a consumer-reliant product. You tick off the base? The revenue tap gets turned off, immediately, and those consumers will be LOUD with warning people away…

Legit, this is way more digestible than a big long block of text. It’s just as long as an article, but it’s broken up into bits, and that makes it easier to understand. This is one time where I think the slideshow format works for the content in question.
