Sorry... you were saying?

BONINOBONINOBONINO BONINOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Aaah gotcha nono. I do realize that wasn’t super clearly put above though — thanks for giving me the chance to clarify :)

He was a pre-lockout draft pick — the Flames wanted his exact skillset and then the game changed. He never really adapted.

You want a counter-attacking team? Try a neural-zone trap team that flips pucks over the defence to flying wingers. The Rangers don’t have the defensive prowess to be a counter-attacking team (Dan Girardi is their #2 defensemen).

Phaneuf has always been a mediocre, hard-hitting defensemen who thrived in the two-line-pass era. Most of my memories of him being dominant are from junior — he was okay for the Flames and borderline crappy for the Leafs — but folks in Calgary loved him b/c he was the hometown boy, and he put dudes through glass.

Indochino suits are garbage. Their initial fit is beyond mediocre, and the actual build quality of the suit is questionable. The construction of the suits is outsourced to China, and it shows in the workmanship. If you want a custom suit, don’t cheap out and just get a custom suit. Otherwise, get something off the

OK

This is a legitimate and good take

In what world is a game between a team competing for the title and a team competing for a Champion’s League spot irrelevant? Putting aside the obvious drama of the derby.

I suppose... for now. I’d prefer an article from Billy eating shit. But this will do for now.

Cool. Are we gonna get a recap of Sunday’s NLD or what? I know the Deadspin staff are die-hard Gooners (it autocorrected that to “Goobers”—which is accurate) but... it would be nice to do some revelling TBH.

18 references to himself in a 248 word column. That’s one reference every ~13 words.

The difference is that Methot’s punches happened after the whistle, not during open play. It’s a minor, kinda chintzy difference, but a difference no-less. His punches happened in scrums and, while admittedly super dirty, weren’t happening in open-play. You can’t punch a dude in the face with your glove in open play,

That’s a super fair point. Tens of thousands is far more accurate.

Here to help! I can understand, specifically, not liking this guy. But the wider conversation of effective (versus seniority-based) management of public higher education institutions is an important one.

Sorry dude, but this is a ridiculous, overly simplistic argument and you should feel bad for making it.

Golden State blew after a good butt take, huh? Interesting. Interesting.
