It does when an adult man in a rubber suit is stripping down an unconscious 13 year old.
the second character to take on the mantle of Robin after Dink became Nightwing
I’m going in just hoping it will be a decent movie that’s different than what’s already out on the market. It’ll have to be pretty bad for me to walk out disappointed.
They got stuck in a cycle of swinging for the bleachers with creating something new and refreshing, succeeding and then recycling what they thought made the last movie work, into a lackluster designed-by-committee approach...only to see it bomb. X-Men 1&2 are great, but 3 is god-awful. They hit gold again with First…
It absolutely blows my mind that Fox took two cracks at the Dark Phoenix Saga — the first of which was the first “bad” X-Men movie after two successful films — the director of the second version is the same guy who wrote the first version.
So now they can charge a ton of money for these new badges
But then how, exactly, is one supposed to: “radiate more openness and clarity”.
I hate it. But I’ll get used to it. In fact, it’s sort of an improvement. Actually I prefer it. The next one after this will be terrible, surely.
I don’t get why logos are “due for updates” anyway. Unless there’s a fundamental shift in the business that muddles the logo’s message or they used some very period-specific styling in the first place, there’s no need to change something that currently works. It only makes sense when there’s a functional issue to be…
Er, I took it as “his healing factor kept the adamantium poisoning in check, up and until the gene therapy introduced in the GM plants that wiped out everyone else’s mutant gene started progressively slowing down Logan’s healing factor”. It’s not like Logan was careful about his diet, so he would have been exposed to…
It feels a bit like sour grapes. Immortality must suck because I can’t have it.
Reportedly, Brian May’s song caused the film to get rewritten to better reflect how much immortality can suck- earlier drafts were much more focused on beheadings, not so much on what happens when the people you love grow old and die while you stay the same.
Actually, Highlander hit the real reason it might suck. Everyone you know eventually dies. Connor mourned for Heather and Ramirez, who died early in his life.
Highlander is such a great movie. The Fox station in Pittsburgh would show it at least once a summer for their Saturday afternoon movies and it was always so exciting when I realized it was on. That would then lead to 3 months of me playing Highlander using a cheap katana sword I got at a state fair years earlier. It…

Look at his hair line on his scalp. What the hell is going on there? I will always laugh when I mentally picture this man running:
