Honestly, I think it’s the optimal way to go about it. I’d remember the weird arbitrary name over a name that’s so easy and straightforward, you confuse it for other titles, haha.

I think it would be fair to say that DBFZ used the Melty Blood series as a template, cause they share a lot of features as far as fast auto-combo fighters go.
The only way for that to be a relative comparison is if you are implying that being asexual is a matter of choice.... which would basically be ignoring the established understanding of human sexuality required to have this conversation in the first place.
A game doesn’t have to be “good” to be successful. And plenty of products in a market that’s constantly innovating, tend to be more popular thanks to the innovation, which usually results in sentiment towards said products waning as the innovation loses it’s unique appeal.
But really, quality is highly subjective, so…
Can someone who’s actually seen the episode clarify the context of the speaker in this scene? At first glance, the lines inclusion reads as subtext for world of the series being sexist, but in a way that only tennis fans would get. Like an easter egg, rather than a rewriting of history.
I feel like that’s a semantics argument at that point. Which doesn’t make the right wing stigma of 4chan any less tangible.
Yeah exactly, haha. The funniest thing about that to me is that Tumblr, Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, and every other site, have well known negative stigmas about that they will never live down.
So I don’t understand why anyone needs to white knight for 4chan.
But even professional athletes...injure themselves in silly ways like this all the time.
Sammy Sosa threw his back out from sneezing too hard. It’s so common that you can find dozens of “silliest injuries in sports” articles all over the internet.
I’m confused, I know 2chan became the place for the *professionally* bigotted, but I have yet to see a modern day 4chan that isn’t still heavily right-wing and bigotted in it’s user base still?
I know it’s got a a dozen different types of boards, but how do those shoes still not fit to some degree?
People pop off this hard all the time at gaming tournaments, and this is the only time I’ve ever heard of someone dislocating their shoulder from it.
Likewise “proper” athletes get injured in ridiculous ways all the time though. Didn’t a tennis player get injured tripping, on his way to doing those mandatory interviews…
Let’s be real, this doesn’t happen to everyone. BUT that doesn’t mean the risk is worth it still. Choosing not to get vaccinated(and follow zero safety procedure) also means you’re willing to put that risk on the other around you, which is a pretty scumbag thing to do.
I get the passion, but it’s kind of clouding your logic centers there. White people aren’t a monolithic group(never have been), so I think it would be fair to say the white people who get into cops faces are not the same group of white people who understand the police are dangerous.
Like the Karen’s that resist cops,…
While I get the complain of over sexualized characters in media, I think it kind of falls flat when the media in question is made up of mostly aesthetic parts to begin with. It would be like walking into an obvious candy store and complaining that the candy store is selling Pixie Stix.
So yeah, her costume is stupid.…
I think it’s fun but yeah it’s definitely not a game for everyone. It’s for people that get enjoyment out of the requirement to tangibly get better at a game in order to complete it from the get go.
It’s like an offline version of playing a fighting game online, haha.
I think that idea comes from a very unnuanced and or cartoonish idea of how crime works. While there can be some overlap between the typical racist troll and a dedicated criminal, majority of the time, we are talking about two distinct type of people, with the former relying heavily on their “craft” being made up of…
Nah the feature is fine. There’s a few comments that show up in Kotaku articles that are pretty bigotted and hateful. Guess we should get rid of the comment feature all-together huh?
Honestly they already mentioned the real problem in the article though(outside of assholes being assholes): creating a Twitch account is…
Well part of modern day conservative playbook is being is being selfish as possible. Reality doesn’t matter because “I am right” about any given topic, on any given day. So they fall into situations where they legitimately forget what environment they are in, as they can’t look outside of themselves to check for…
Also even if you are anti-abortion you should be fucking horrified at the idea of-
I agree with the moral dilemma of this being a problem that’s industry(country even) wide, and we only ever see consequences for the people that express these stances publicly. But I don’t really think there is any plausible solution for this in our current world, since it’s basically intrinsic to the system we live…
The comment you replied to is like a week old, so I’m kind of out of context of what your replying to(cause kinja’s website functions suck).
If it can be summed up as “republicans are vile,” I agree. My point was simply that democrats are just as capable of being vile. That’s it. Have a good day.
