I’ll save everyone the time and just generate some comments for this:

“Take Two has every right to go after these guys and protect their IP.”
“Ugh, I was looking forward to this”
“These guys were dumb for spending time on a project like this.”
“Why can’t companies just chill out and let fans be fans?”
“The writing was on

They are obviously saving grandma for DLC.

That’s pretty neat actually, but it doesn’t feel like it’s saving any time or frustration, haha.

I mentioned this in another reply, but this kind of controller advantage disparity exists with fighting games. So I wonder if there were a gaming mouse for consoles, if people would be cool leaving the tech in?

Edit: I also forgot there’s also aim assist too. Idk, sounds like crossplay has a lot of variables that make

These kinds of things happens all the time in fighting games, and most of the time it’s embraced by the developers and the community, but it’s definitely questionable with the advantage it presents.

Though at the same time, there are several different types of controllers one could use (gamepad, joystick, keyboard,

Me thinks there’s a hint of face blindness in that examination of yours, cause I don’t see it, lol.

For sure, that’s what I’m saying, haha. Like I get this sucks(and it does) but the Chinese government is copying our homework here.

You know what you’re right. I’ve read enough dystopian fiction and history on systemic human rights abuses, to not forgot about all the mentions of... minors being forced(citation needed on how they would ever be able to do this with mass effectiveness) to limit their consumption of video games.

Sarcasm aside, I think

That’s still the smash community though. The Smash community, just like the Street Fighter, KoF or Mortal Kombat communities, are a collection of various groups separated by the different iterations of games they play in a series. Plenty of them play multiple games in a series as well.

They do, which is why I think people should drop the games entirely.

But people love the things they love. I don’t think any kind of legality is ever gonna stop a pursuit of that kind of community enjoyment. Which is why people continue to try and host these things year after year.

I mean, the modded version clearly has things about that make it different from the vanilla. So if people are enjoying it enough to play it at a competitive level, its always going to lead to some kind of tournament setting, no?

It’s not in their favor to do so, but I think it would be silly to not expect players to

Yeah, I think the way we report on China in the US, is very dystopian, but a lot of what happens in China(arguably different flavors of the same stuff here) still has plenty of tricks/workarounds that the general public easily does.

But if we reported things from that perspective we wouldn’t have a scary country to

I honestly think the smash community should just find a new game(especially with the many smash clones that exist now) instead of bothering to do anything with Nintendo licenses. Just seems like an unnecessary uphill battle.

Well for a lot of these scenes, they only exist because of local community organization and tournaments like this. These games only continue to live through their competitive scene, so the options are A. Keep trying or B. Give up on the game. And giving up on something you love is pretty shitty.

Though, I honestly

Can’t that just be chalked up to a learned response to previous trauma? And especially here in America, people aren’t seeing therapists and we treat a lot of our flaws as fun or unchangeable quirks, up into the point where people have turned these things into decades old habits.

Idk, I feel like that one missed the mark in way too many ways to be considered anything more than “fine,” haha.

Like it was fun, but at no point did it ever feel good to play. And gameplay aside the character introductions were kind of frustrating, as a lot of awesome characters were strictly NPCs, so I found myself

They didn’t sign up to the job to make measured decisions that take the publics safety and well-being into account, as well as their image an impact on the communities they work in.

Uh, plenty of the the individual letters of LGBTQ have bigotted and hateful opinions about the other letters. Hell plenty of LGBTQ people are sexist/racist/ablest/etc.

I don’t know the backstory of what makes her specifically homophobic, but in general, being part of a marginalized group, has never meant being

I think you’re underestimating how normalized corporate interference is, with our politics. Cause it’s not hard to find democrats doing shady things like that. Obviously Republicans have a reputation for how little they care about hiding this, but out of all the differences between the two parties, I think it’s one of

Are you asking for examples of democrats being shady, or specifically being hired on to moderate shady practice? Cause the former shouldn’t be questioned in 2021.

Though I think it’s important to “both sides” the conversation when we are talking about corrupt politics, as we often paint black and white pictures, that
