Actually, I recall that the Ditto found in Pokemon Snap share this same feature, and there are also some cards in the Pokemon TCG (most notably from the EX Delta Species expansion) in which Ditto has taken the form of various Pokemon while still maintaining its original face.

This particular xenomorph also has some Tarkatan DNA in it (apparently from Baraka, but I’m not entirely certain). That’s why it also has retractable “blades” on its arms.

As a Jersian myself, I both take offense to, and wholeheartedly agree with, this statement.
