I think I know what you mean, but I would describe those moments as "Robyn Moments" rather than "Kylie Moments". Although Kylie is also really good at them. But Kylie also has "Spinning Around" and "Wow". Those moments of pure joy define her just as much as her disco ballads. And let's not forget "Kylie The Dark

Haven't made my mind up yet about the quality of the songs, but disagree about her style getting lost. This album sounds like 100% Kylie to me. This is pretty much what she does.

While this movie is enjoyable, well made, wonderfully off-beat, and works really well as a horror movie about parental anxieties, it must also be said that it's fundamentally misogynistic.

Nope. I generally can't stand Perry, but "Roar" is particularly bad.

I'd like to believe that half-naked men, violence, and a fantasy setting are enough to make this worthwhile, but then I remember how much "Immortals" sucked.

This sounds kinda cool, actually. Will there be regular reviews?

I love the album so much. In terms of lyrics, my favourite is "Gun", tho:

A D's a little rough, just as all the B's before may have been a little too generous. But yeah, not the best episode.

I think I really like the new design.

Well, I'm not watching the current season, so I don't know how off-the-charts this dude is. But Pepper was clearly cast - and kept until the end - for the drama she caused, not for her "talent".

"And why hasn’t Project Runway fallen into the trap—save this season’s Sandro Masmanidi—of casting loose cannons to drive ratings and drama?"

Sorry, I'm not really familiar with her music. I think she may be more of an American phenomena. Or perhaps she's just been below my radar so far for whatever reasons.

As a girl-pop enthusiast who enjoys Rihanna and Gaga, I'd give this album an honest chance if only "We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball" weren't so ho-hum. They're not bad tracks, just really mediocre and uninteresting. I don't find her overproduced vocals on either track very alluring, either.

I love this album, I'm listening to it non-stop. I particularly love "Royals" and "Buzzcut Season". I'd say she's sylistically between The XX and Lana Del Rey.

i dont know, it feels alright to me. i think in this case, us fags profit as much from the increased exposure as the band does. and i think its quite respectfully done, with all those close-ups of their faces, and their names published, and the band almost taking a backseat visually. absolut has been sponsoring

i just listened to this and its EXCELLENT.

its got a fantastic video, very "paris is burning". make sure you get the extended version.

well, i liked echo well enough, but think dushku wasnt a strong enough performer to be the center of the show.
