"this queen is tiger-fucked."
"this queen is tiger-fucked."
Agreed. The season is one of the lesser ones, but still good. The cast
is great, it's the editing that's wonky. And the lack of Bryce.
Completely agree, this was a good episode.
Thanks everybody! After reading your suggestions and doing some googling myself, I've decided to start with Rucka's first run. A couple of issues in, I'm really digging it. I love all that stuff about the embassy, it reminds me a little bit of Morrison's New X-Men, which I also love.
Hey, can somebody give me a primer on good Wonder Woman comics post 2000ish? I have little knowledge about her and the DCU, but lot's of enthusiasm. I don't care if the continuity doesn't hang together 100%, I can deal with that. Which are the really good runs, one-shots and minis? Thanks, appreciate it!
Thanks for the info! Appreciate it!
So, if I want to check this out, should I start with season 1 or 2?
Luschek-King and Nicky-Guard were even framed similarly, with the closing door and all. It was a deliberate parallel.
I thought Whedons first arc was pretty much perfect, but the rest of his run was underwhelming. To be fair, it wasn't just Whedon's fault… his story got pretty much gutted by "M-Day".
Joining in on the love for Morrisons New X-Men. Not sure if it's a great starting point, though… Morrisons writing can be a bit esotheric, and the artwork was wonky as fuck sometimes.
That was a fun read!

Killa Bunnies - Moloko
This is a big misunderstanding. You're supposed to watch "I luh yuh papi" on mute. It's perfectly tolerable that way.
Agree that the back-half of season 3 is really strong. 4 and 5 were good, but I did stop watching midway through 5. Not that I thought it was terrible or anything… I just lost interest.
Epic review!
Holy shit, so "Andrew W.K." is the Drag King persona of Sinéad O'Connor?!?!
Agreed. Also, Robyn's ballads are a little more intellectual - the lyrics really matter - while Kylie mostly sings silly platitudes. (That's *not* a diss.)
So, is it better or worse than "Defiance"? (Which I enjoyed, flaws and all.)
Is there going to be regular coverage? I'd be interested.
