Thank you for that correction. I always get my Ds confused.

“Can someone think of a movie or TV show where the woman goes all badass revenge-y Taken style because someone killed her husband/lover?”
Do you remember if any of that was addressed in the film, or was it more of a romanticized Stockholm Syndrome? Because that movie sounds awful, and it’s a bummer people couldn’t really see it for what it was.
My girlfriend and I absolutely loved that Jessica Jones justice scene. It was fantastic.
That is in my personal movie queue, but I will now rethink its inclusion. Thank you.
Kill Bill!!!!!
As someone with depression, and a couple of suicide attempts under my belt, Obamacare has NOT been the death of me. It keeps giving me affordable mental and physical health care! Ugh, thanks Obama!
I haven’t paid attention to the Olympics in a long time before this year. What fascinates me the most is seeing the athletes in the bottom of the packs and thinking they are some of the best in the world, but the winners are so damn far ahead of them that they put themselves into the stratosphere of athletics! It’s…
Just make sure you label each room with large letters on the wall so you can remember that the kitchen has FOOD in it, you can EAT there, and the bedroom contains LOVE and SLEEP.
I’d go down ON that ship! Heyooooo!
I hope he cameos in Jon Stewart’s cartoon at some point.
Me too! I was sitting in a fairly large common area at college having a cup of coffee and doing a crossword, when, from across the entire room, I hear “IF ANYONE IS PLAYING POKÉMON, THERE’S A PIKACHU OUT HERE.” So I loaded up the game at my seat, and caught myself a Pikachu. :)
I didn’t think there was a need for a Phelps countdown timer, nor did I think Phelps, sitting in a chair, needed to take up half the screen while a woman (can’t remember if it was Manuel, King, or Ledecky) wins a gold medal. Yes, the women all did receive some spotlight, but they were very apparently over-shadowed by,…
I completely agree, and I too relished his loss. I felt like I was watching a Phelps colonoscopy. Even local news outlets in my area treated Manuel as a footnote to Phelps’s “been there, done that” performance. Yes, he’s good at what he does (and he’s won a bunch of medals), but the women deserved all of the spotlight…
I was recently in San Diego for 4th of July, and I happened to walk by a small group of surfer dudes. All I heard from their conversation was (in the most stereotypical California surfer voice), “Hey bro, I’m going to a party tonight. Dan’s gonna be there.” “Oh bro! Boner Dan?! I just saw Boner Dan the other day!” And…
I enjoy using “whoopy.” Not sure what that says about me though.
