I did notice that I used "legit," but MC Hammer crammed it into my ears so much that it feels normal. I do hope that these shortenings do not become prevalent. It frightens me. We're heading down the Newspeak path.

Here's a tip: if you know alcohol will be served at your destination, bring an ID and put it on the table/counter before ordering your drink. To me, it's a courtesy to the staff and establishment letting them know that you are legit and respect their business. Anticipating that you wouldn't need it due to the

"I've seen lots of people saying that the Hulk steals the movie — and it's sort of true — but a lot of the emotional moments that get etched into your brain involve Tony Stark."

I can appreciate minimalism. I cannot appreciate expensive minimalism; more money for less product in something as menial and trivial as salt & pepper shakers is just absurd.

Here is someone that is distracted. That gal is not at fault here. The sidewalk is very poorly marked, from the looks of the video.

If they're so awesome, why is Paul not wearing them?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a person that has enough financial support to chase any sort of dream that comes into his head. To me, he's a person that is growing exponentially with each adventure. He is now one of a very select few individuals that have been that deep. I can almost guarantee that this has

I'm normally not one for the coolness of things, but when it comes to taking pictures, I've always found picture-takers with phones to look quite silly. I can't imagine what a picture-taker with a tablet looks like! I would probably chuckle for far too long. Now, I will admit to taking lots of pictures with my phone

I wonder if that much glass breaking is a metaphor for something in the story; maybe something along the lines of the shattered reality of Quaid's life......or something.

Whoa whoa whoa! Don't generalize us please. Some musicians like to hop in the shower and have more sex afterwards.

This reminds me of the Dead Space comics that I downloaded on PS3. It had full voice acting, but the presentation was all panels. It's really cool, and I'm looking forward to the inevitable evolution of comic books.

"It sounded to me like he was channeling a little bit of John Hurt. This was quite an entertaining little monologue. I'm really looking forward to Prometheus. My re-education of the Alien duology ;) will begin this weekend with my favorite bottle of scotch."

Jesus. That GI Joe trailer looks fucking awful. I can't even string together words that would put that trailer in anticipatory light. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!

I will most likely watch all four of them (seeing as how the scotch will have set-in nicely by the third, and I do enjoy both of the directors you mentioned), but my heart lies with the first two. The latter half of the series seemed too forced, in my opinion.

Protip: Start a band (or just be a solo musician), create a page/account for said band/musician via your personal account, merge the two pages/accounts, and VOILA! You will no longer have to deal with timelines, news feeds, and all of that other crap. As a side note, you will not be able to communicate with anyone

I recently saw Mission Impossible in IMAX, which previewed roughly 6 minutes of The Dark Knight Rises. The scene was entirely of Bane and I was concerned about the muffling, even in the giant sound of the theatre. I'm sure it'll be fine because I trust Christopher Nolan, but the muffling was quite noticeable.

(Shameless self-promotion included)

In regards to the You're vs. Your, I would like to add Lose vs. Loose, Their vs. They're vs. There, and Cause vs. Because. We may say "cause" (pronounced 'cuz') in verbal conversation because it just slides out that way, but typing it and having to read it is a whole other game.
