@Sidetalker: Yes. I can agree with that. Circles are much more stable and balanced? Sewer lids, vehicle wheels, the planets, orbits; Life operates according to circles, no? Centrifugal force, Fibonacci numbers? Looking around me, there are circles everywhere!

My immediate thought was the combination of all the mechanisms involved in being bipedal. If we had two legs one in front of the other, then a straight line would be much more likely.

Is the name based on the noun or verb?

"this discovery could be an amazing weapon to fight Alzheimer and other degenerative diseases"

Nice idea, just needs some more polish. This seemed like one of those "Oh this is great I gotta get it onto the internet as soon as possible no I won't spend more time on it to polish it up and make it smoother I just need to get it out there NOW!" situations.

@pseizure2000: If that's how you feel, then that's your choice. ;)

@pseizure2000: You can choose not to pay attention. You can choose not to attend class. We always have a choice.

I've seen videos of ridiculous behavior on the professor's part as well; unnecessary, childish behavior. If a professor is

Surveillance in lieu of space exploration? Sad state of affairs.

@philipl: "Joey, do you like movies about gladiators?"

@Ballistica: Some of us prefer to be treated like an actual human being. All the terrorists need to do is sit back and watch the show. This country will tear itself apart from the inside. It has already started. There's too much anger, selfishness (as you have displayed), and disrespect flying around and we're not

Well then it's a good thing I'm special.

Nigel knows about airport embarrassment also.

Keep the people paranoid, and they can be more easily controlled.

Actually, that IS an animal in the diagram. Humans are animals.

@kagekiri: You have a very good point, but in order to define Everything as such, there must be Nothing, yes? If there is no Nothing, then we cannot have Everything.
