Blessedly uneventful! You?
Yeah, he looks like he got hit a few times with the ugly stick, doesn't he?
Something else is at work I think: the messages in rap are a little unsettling because they paint the system as inordinately hostile to blacks. That is not music to white ears. (Personally I think the solution is to take the discomfort as a spur to make things better, but that's me.)
Does our entertainment mirror, or perhaps direct, our lives?

About a year now, I think. I think I discovered this place by way of an article slamming Bernie's white supporters, because goddämn, they can be insufferable.
If there were someone like him in your social circle, you'd throw your arm out chucking microscopes at his head.
"In other words, if she comes under a cloud of suspicion, it's one she's aware of and voluntarily signs up for."
Mesa Verde didn't involve Kim doing anything wrong, though. That's all on Jimmy. But if Jimmy confesses to the New Mexico Bar, the first question they'll have will be, "did Kim Wexler put him up to this?" She'll be under a cloud of suspicion through no fault of her own.
At the very least they're making Ravi look worse because that's how you make the drama more dramatic — make everyone behave like socially-defective teenagers. Or at least make the "third wheel" behave that way.
Well, the same actor. And he was legit charming there, in large measure because he wasn't wearing a Green Lantern t-shirt and talking about his delight in porn and all the stuff that is supposed to make him wacky/charming in this show but just makes me want to throw microscopes at his head.
Doing okay I guess, trying to get into the swing of exercise now that winter's over but before the summer gets unreasonably warm. What's up by you?
Oh! Yeah, I don't don't always announce my melanin levels but I don't try to hide it either (especially when it can be a factor in my perspectives). I stick around because this is frankly the best community I've seen on the Internet, and I am a better person on a few different levels for paying attention.
That almost sounds like a Dr. Seuss book.
Cleveland. (I was going to put an exclamation point but some how it didn't seem appropriate.)
Entirely possible. Most likely I would avert my gaze and that might seem impolite, but it's either that or stare and that would be worse. I am given to social awkwardness.
Eh, Cleveland hasn't had a team worth following since the Crusaders back in the 70s. Even the logo rocked:
Hey, Clevelander here too! I'm out by the airport; you east side or west side? (Not trying to get too personal here, but I'm just curious about how well our worlds line up. For all I know you already know me as That Jovial Yet Reclusive Fat White Idiot With The Crappy Lawn.)
I will phrase it that way then. If his objection were that he's afraid of being in another life-threatening situation, I would consider it a moment of honesty and grounds to appreciate Ravi for powering through anyway.
Oh yes. And even in current episodes, someone dies in virtually every episode, and I keep wishing the Doctor would get another day where everybody lives.
