Marvel generally pays their actors royalties instead of upfront salaries. Works out better for both parties. I read that RDJ alone got $50 million from the first Avengers movie after everything was all said and done.

My issue with ROTJ was never “Luke’s Plan”. It was “The Emperor’s Plan”. Think about it: the guy gave the Rebels the plans on how to destroy Death Star II and THEY WERE REAL! AND told them where the shield generator on the Endor moon was located. Not dummy plans. Not the wrong location for the generator. Everything

Amazon buying Target makes little sense.

At this point, though, I’m just hoping we’ll see something on the screen.

“Superman is a beacon of hope!” This message brought to you by the Coffin Manufacturers of America.

I’m betting she’s somehow Anakin just so Luke can say the line“No. YOU are my father.” That seems like a JJ kind of stunt.

Apparently you have never seen Avatar. Because that movie proves you can’t “just hire anyone” for motion capture acting.

She is not amused, child.

Not necessarily. They could save episode 12 for the 2nd season and still air episode 13 which is the cliffhanger. Everything on Fox has a freaking cliffhanger. Even the comedies.

I’m sure there will be a “Try it FREE for 30 days!” promotion for the new service. When all the episodes of the new show come out: subscribe, watch all the episodes in 29 days, cancel subscription. That’s what I’m planning on doing for the new STAR TREK.

She was pretty good in the new season of MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000. I felt her character could have been more mean, though. But that was more the writing than her performance.

It’s no secret that Marvel used a lot of what he created in the Ultimate Marvel Universe for their Cinematic Universe, so I see DC going down that same road and using him as the architect to “modernize” their characters and make them more accessible for movie/media translation.

DC had to dangle a really big carrot in front of him for him to leave Marvel completely. He could have gone freelance and worked for both simultaneously. So I’m leaning towards a full reboot or, at the very least, some sort of Ultimate-type DC universe to make the characters more “movie-compliant”.

Director Joe Johnston revealed he plans for his adaptation of C.S. Lewis’ The Silver Chair to be his final film before retiring from filmmaking.

Hasbro has the Micronauts and ROM. Those two properties could be very promising if handled correctly. What’s James Gunn up to after GOTG Vol. 3?

The only place it makes sense for him to show up is at Tony Stark’s funeral. Jussayin’.

I hope he gets his guns taken away. He is clearly unhinged. This will probably only escalate.
