As an American, I’ve always wondered why red isn’t a symbol of the left here myself given its connotations to communism. But I think it has something to do with the Democratic Party here in the States historically championing the interests of the working-class, or “blue-collar” workers.

But let’s not forget that the same day Trump tweeted about the massacre, he also referred to immigrants as invaders, just like the Christchurch shooter.

That might work in theory. But if the gunshot sensor isn’t sophisticated enough, I could see it censoring things like videos of Fourth of July fireworks or car rallies when an Impreza backfires, and not what it is designed to protect against.
