I’ve been a landlord, and as long as David is paying his rent on time, not breaking stuff beyond normal wear and tear, and not getting the cops called to his house he’d be a better tenant than any I’ve ever had. In fact, if I were the landlord, I’d let him store as many damn cars on that property as he likes, and I’d

Anyone want to explain the glorious white Defender lurking in the background of some of these images?

Agree. Keep up the good works; my favorite sentence:

Daimler Is Feeling The Pain

Daimler is in the garbage can, so is Renault, so is Hyundai, and so are auto suppliers. I am happy to report that I

Saw the chart, was not particularly impressed.

As a fan of 10 year old used cars, I hate struts. Huge pain to replace. Gimmie the trusty prop any day of the week.

How did you write an entire post about this car, and all of its insane specifications, and not even mention the Freevalve technology it will be using?!

That was the answer today too, but it was phrased more diplomatically.

That still costs you money, but you’ve already paid it.

Trading in a KIA on a BMW to save money.

What a world we live in!  If anyone had suggested that 5 years ago, they would have been told they are clinically insane.

“...and get very nervous even thinking about daily driving it into Manhattan.”

“Hi, I owe 27k on my car, and that’s too expensive! I’d like to buy a car for $28k to lower my payment.”

It’s a Honda with 68k miles, it didn’t need any of the things they listed, and certainly doesn’t need them to pass a state inspection.  They just saw a sucker in a tight spot and made some quick cash.

This is rough but, it’s the truth. It’s one thing to be writing about a subject you aren’t an expert in. It’s quite another to write about an incredibly stupid and naive thing you did, and try to tell a readership who for the most part are experts in the subject you’re writing about that it wasn’t stupid or naive.

He

I have said it before and I will say it again:

Let they who are without mistakes issue the first correction. It’s a small mistake — it is definitely a GMT 900 based (correct) Yukon”, not a 360/370-based Envoy. From the video, it looks almost like a re-trimmed Avalanche.

How anyone who works on a Car Blog could confuse a Yukon and an Envoy is beyond me.

The Elite Praetorian Guards were Snoke’s guards from The Last Jedi, the Emperor had the Royal Guards. Both were red and badass, fitting your reference however.

I do this at times if I know we’re driving a ton of miles in a short amount of time. Usually it’s if we’re driving 1,000+ miles in a week. I’ve rented Optimas/Camrys/Altimas for $160/week that fits all of my family’s crap comfortably, gets 30-35 mpg on regular gas, and I’m not tearing up my wife’s car nor cramming all

If it’s a lot of miles in a short amount of time it could make sense... maybe. It’s all because of the unlimited miles your allowed in a rental. The more miles you drive it then lower the per mile cost. If you rent for a day or two and drive it 1000 miles round trip, then a rental will make sense.
