it’s hard to say when Co$ is both capable of a) sitting on/actively quashing allegations that may have happened when he was in, or b) fabricating another felony against somebody criticizing them.
Was anyone else surprised that dress wasn’t in the Smithsonian or the Pop Culture museum? I only remember Ripley’s as the group who made a TV show about human oddities.
By his logic then a gay actor shouldn’t be able to play a straight role. Or am I missing something?
I think the thing is, in the 90s, they probably didn’t even consider casting a gay actor, nor were there many openly gay actors in Hollywood. Thirty years later, in a (moderately) more accepting society, there are gay performers who can play that role, studios more willing to hire them for it, and a public less likely…
Then maybe don’t dig into the comments section of an article about a piece of “children’s tv”?
I don’t think the scene where the general pulls the plug on Gump’s speech where he talks about how much the war sucks while the protesters cheer is very conservative.
I don’t know what we can really learn from just pointing to single individuals and deeming them good or bad. I think with Holmes it really is a weird dualism between what she did was terrible vs how she gained power by aligning herself with misogynist values points more to a really terrible society. So to me…
You may want to read The Five by Hallie Rubenhold if you haven’t already. It’s a great examination into the lives of the victims that goes in depth into the topics you’re mentioning.
Everyone that doesn’t like the 5th would absolutely use it to their advantage. Doesn’t change their opposition to it, though.
Sure, “I can’t tell you because if I did, I’d be admitting to wrong doing,” would work, but it’s easier and quicker to say, “I plead the fifth.”
I wish it was that simple, but the GOP will get extremely creative to write laws that effectively decrease black gun ownership while increasing white gun ownership. They don’t have any principles at all.
anyone that skiplags with checked baggage deserves the inevitable consequences. surely a sign of a malfunctioning prefrontal cortex.
Welp, the grays are about what you would expect. Please don't let any more of them out.
Plus once they realize you’re not in your seat, they sell your seat to someone else, essentially letting them get paid twice for a single seat.
If the seat is being paid for, why do the airlines care if there’s a person in it? Also, if paying for an extra flight is cheaper than paying for just the first one, that feels like a business model failure.
I love the juxtaposition of these images, because the first one always bothered me. I knew it was definitely NOT a face, but I still see the damn face there every time. The 2001 image is perfect because you can see the lines and shadows that ended up appearing like the mouth, nose and eyes, but they’re obviously just…
We just give our dogs a monthly heartworm/flea/tick pill. No need for potentially counterfeit collars.
The horrific Photoshop was far worse than the outfit.
