Also always a fun game, just reminding people (as noted above): if you have any kind of “preexisting condition,” for example hypertension, like a large minority of adults in the US, being tased can be fatal. It is not, by any means, less deadly or less cruel than guns, it is famously shockingly painful, and if you

Well, he has a point. There haven’t been any school shootings in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, etc, all due to the deployment of weaponized drones in schools.

Spelling bees use lists of words (so not every word in the English language).

On the flip side, though, they almost never get rabies and are highly-efficient tick and mosquito-killers. Also, they may talk a good game with their hissing and fangs and what not, but they’re pretty docile and don’t really wanna tango (source: my mother’s a wildlife rehabber and we grew up with a number of these

I seriously doubt that any surgeon would deliberately do a half-assed job that leaves a patient in pain. I expect the bigger issue is that most are interested in the case and performing the surgery itself, successfully, and then move on to the next patient.  Surgeons are sort of mechanics in that way.

We’d all like that.

it’s not as practical as just learning the words.

I mean it’s possible the surgeon did screw up or he didn’t get PT or he was prescribed Tylenol when he needed something stronger. Or he was actually drug seeking or chose not to go to PT. But either way the fact he could buy an AR-15 the same day and walk in and shoot people where he could have maybe thrown a punch

Having been through a series of shockingly painful surgeries that took over 6 months to heal, I will say that there isn’t enough post surgery follow up on patients.  I’m not suggesting that is the reasons this dude decided to murder, I’m just pointing similarities with my own experience.  Murder is never the answer

Taking bets on whether this article actually gets updated with new information, since the new information that has already been out for hours makes your linking the riot anniversary to this look opportunistic and sleazy.

as a resident of Tulsa Oklahoma, I’m having a very difficult time understanding why you are looping in the race riots to this story. The fact that this occurred has absolutely nothing to do with the race riots whatsoever and the fact that it happened just hours after Biden spoke of the anniversary is a mere

It’s great if your kid has their own water, their own couch and their own food, but I don’t know that this can be said about most college students.

They already restrict the number of feeds you can have. Personally if I am paying for 4 feeds at a time I should be able to allow anyone to use those.

Speaking for myself, I’d rather watch and listen to it on the hotel room’s 60" than my 15" laptop.

This is the exact thing I don’t understand, Netflix touts it’s service on everything. I have 2 young children and pay for 4 screens.

it’s something they have to demonstrate a desire to do something about (even if it’s not a sincere desire)

Or the media picked the story up in the hope that awareness would prime people to resist it.

It wasn’t, though. Mary Pickford is right. I’m already paying extra for the ability to stream on two devices at once. And the only reason to do that is so I can share my account if my parents happen to be watching at the same time as me. They already solved their supposed problem. They’ve made up this “other" issue to

They already limit how many people can watch at once (one at a time on the lowest tier plan) which is reasonable and keeps any password sharing among people you’d trust. If someone lets their parents use their Netflix account they either have to spring for an expensive multi-user plan or never use it at the same time.

Actually, that’s a false equivelacy..

The people that are, lets say leeching off another account most likely wouldn’t pay for the content themselves anyway.. and netflix doesn’t earn based on the number of eyeballs glued, they pay per subscription (and other partnerships/incentives).. So those “lost” consumers were
