There’s a great book called How Dogs Love Us that talks about the wolf/dog thing before getting into the meat of it, which is the studies the author did by putting dogs in MRI machines and mapping their brains to determine if dogs can actually love. It’s a great book, not too technical, but not too dumbed down, either.

When I was working at a 911 center, we were constantly told that the messages we sent through our software, our emails, any recorded phone calls (the phone in the break room was not recorded, but all calls on the floor were, no matter what phone) were all considered public information.

Things can be important to you without being willing to risk your livelihood (and the ability to feed, clothe, and house your kids) to do it. And a lot of people are in positions where they are unable to take off work (and a lot of those people work more than one job because they kinds of jobs they are qualified for

Right there: It’s a moral issue. (Really, a religious issue.) Our governments should not be making laws legislating morality or that originate in religion. You can be against it all you want, but there should be no laws against it.

Hell, I work in an office and I can wear jeans and tshirts with sneakers. I wear shorts in the summer on Fridays.

It was true for the captive wolves that were being studied, but that was because they were a) captive and b) a pack that would have never formed naturally (they were thrown together by humans and most were not related.)

They are literally required to get you to sign a waiver in order to continue questioning you or anything you say will be thrown out. I mean, granted, this guy just gave out info to them that they didn’t ask for, but you really can just sit there and not talk (although they should be trying to get you to sign the

Lie detectors are about as reliable as the drug dogs, just for different reasons. For instance, a Scientology e-meter is essentially a lie detector just with fewer contact points.

Particularly since it’s been shown that the dogs will often cue off their handlers and falsely alert. Not to mention that it’s also been shown that pretty much all paper money has traces of drugs on it.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves. Thank you for pointing that out.

It’s almost like different people have different motivations.

So, you don’t believe he worked for Weinstein or you don’t believe Jolie told him about Weinstein’s assault on her before he worked for Weinstein. Because, the fact he worked for Weinstein is easily checkable. And, if you just don’t believe she had told him about her assault before that, well, that would be a really

That’s where I was introduced to him. I was immediately enthralled by him.

I wish we could do that. I don’t think we can, though.

See, this is what blows my mind. I live in Oklahoma. Medical is legal. However, getting a marijuana card? Suuuuper easy. Cannabis dispensaries *everywhere*. Recreational might as well be legal.

I mean, white women wore corsets for an extremely long time (including during times when the whiter the skin the better) and cinching them tight to make themselves thinner, so I don’t know when you are talking about.

There is zero reason that character couldn’t have thinned out with the actor. Zero.

The problem is that a lot of people can’t just lose weight, even with a lot of effort. Hell, there’s a significant amount of really skinny people who have a really hard time gaining weight. Not to mention that gaining and losing weight for a role (particularly if you do it more than once) is really unhealthy and can

People already think that fat people are fat by choice and that if they would just use some willpower, they could easily get down to a lower, more acceptable weight. And they are ridiculed for not doing that and told they don’t deserve nice clothes and healthcare. The fat suit 100% enforces the idea that going from

Would you feel the same if she were playing an Asian? Or a Native American? Or a trans woman or man? She took the part that someone who is not normally considered for roles in TV and movies could have had without the costuming.
