Except they are spreading misinformation and too many people are believing it. And it is harmful. If it was a small number of people spreading lies about something benign, like flat earthers, then your response makes sense. In this case, though, they need to be countered so that people can see they are lying.

I mean, that’s because they are ignoring the fact that the vast majority of people being hospitalized are unvaccinated, including children under 12 who can’t be vaccinated.

I 100% wish that it was a crime to spew verifiably false information that is harmful on the internet. I wish people like you could be fined for this shit. It’s not an opinion, it’s lies. It’s not free speech, it’s harmful lies.

Except that people who are vaccinated can still carry a full load without getting ill, therefore they can spread it to their kids. And most people can’t avoid going to work (most workplaces have opened back up and those who were working from home are back in the office) and to the grocery store (you gotta feed those

I decided long ago that I would not look down on others for their interests (outside of anything that hurts others, of course.) I think The Masked Singer is dumb but I’m not going to knock someone else liking it, for instance.

You realize you are effectively siding with Disney with this take, right? You know, the company who has more money than can be spent in a thousand lifetimes?

When I was 25 I broke my foot. I ended up in the hospital with a blood clot in my leg. Had to stay in there 9 days, 4 of which were in ICU. I couldn’t take a shower when I was in ICU. The day I was getting out of ICU, I asked the nurse on duty if he would please wash my hair. He got some dry shampoo from the gift shop

When I was a kid, we took baths every day in the summer and every other day in the winter.

Even if they bathe before you come over, if they aren’t bathing regularly, their furniture probably stinks. Ugh.

Sonic still makes the best cherry limeade I’ve ever had (don’t even talk to me about McDonald’s. Braum’s is OK.) They also used to have really good chili cheese fries, but their food is meh anymore.

When I saw the name of the movie, I thought, “No way that’s got anything to do with Stillwater, OK.” Huh. I guess I was wrong (although I suppose it isn’t actually set *in* Stillwater, since that’s a college town for OSU and wouldn’t have a lot of roughnecks running around in it. Although, it’s pretty open around

I’m doubly glad because not only does the weird internet joke not bother him, he’s willing to make fun of himself and participate in the joke. He just seems like a really good guy with a sense of humor, so I think he deserves good things.

Oh my god, The War of the Roses is *so* good! It was not what I expected it to be, but it was fantastic. I love dark humor and I love Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas, so it was just perfect.

If you end up getting infected, you might not even know and you will be carrying a full virus load, so you are very contagious. You’re really willing to go into a school unmasked like that and possibly pass it to all those kids who can’t get vaccinated right now?

Or just have never gone through a really stressful time in their life that made it hard to do things at an appropriate level.

You are acting as if a person can’t have issues unless they have a diagnosed mental illness. Which is patently untrue. Everyone has times when they get so stressed they can’t function at their best. It’s just that most people don’t have jobs where that has serious consequences.

Extreme stress is 100% about mental health. Mental health is not just serious mental illness and depression. Ask any 911 dispatcher.

No one has ever shamed an athlete for bowing out over a physical injury. Oh, lots of them have been praised for continuing on with a physical injury even when they shouldn’t have, but you see football players out all the time due to a toe injury or something else seemingly minor and no one shames them.

No.

Except the things she’s described that she’s going through are more than just the twisties. It sounds like all the pressure got to her and probably caused the twisties. Severe stress is definitely mental health.
