Thats not the point—the hot beverages come in a different cup with a sippy lid (I’m sure theres a real name for the type of lid), and if you’re in the car, on the bus/train, en route anywhere, removing the cold cup lid for the straw and just sipping straight out of the cup can create a mess.

I just made a comment about this. I don’t get that argument at all. Like, I have a medical condition and its not unreasonable for me to be expected to carry around the things that make my day easier—I have about 5 different things I need for my health, so those come with me everywhere.
