I love the idea of using a wakeup light, but I don’t want it to disturb my wife because she wakes up later than I do. Has anyone had a problem with their wakeup light disturbing their partner? If so, any way around that?

I do the same. I also use it on my face, especially after shaving. Great moisturizer!

Aaaagggghhhhh!!!

The liquid stuff doesn’t have anything added to it. It’s fractionated, meaning that a part of the oil has been removed (leaving the part that remains liquid - I believe it’s the lauric acid that’s removed, but don’t quote me on that). It’s fine to ingest and is actually higher in MCTs than whole coconut oil.

I agree with this, especially if you cook the marinade; as an added bonus, cooking the marinade will reduce the marinade and intensify the flavor.

Anyone happen to know if this is compatible with Firefox or will be? I doubt it, but one can always hope.

Agreed. I have been using it for years and I would have paid a flat fee for it a long time ago, but subscription? No thanks.

Two of the major reasons I’m rooted and have Xposed installed is so that I can customize my quicksettings tiles and for XPrivacy. With these new features I’d almost not need to be rooted anymore! .... almost.

My morning cup of jo really gets things moving.

Have you seen this? Apparently filtered water sucks for brewing tea with. You may want to use bottled water instead. http://www.seriouseats.com/2014/06/best-w…

Isn’t this also a subscription service? I’d actually be happy to pay for it if it was a one time fee, but subscription, no thank you.

I noticed a lot of people mentioning that they have to pour their coffee/tea into a mug or wait for it to cool off before they can drink it. When I brew coffee I make about 40oz of it at a time and drink it from my Thermos throughout the day. I brew it up with less water (about 32oz of water), then when it's done I

I just realized they aren't dishwasher safe when I saw that the coating had started to come off. Whoops! Should have gotten the stainless, I like the look of that better anyway.

Absolutely agree. Warm up for squats with squats, bench pressing with bench pressing, etc. Not only does it get you warmed up properly, it lets you know early on if anything is amiss before the weight gets heavy.

I bank with Charles Schwab. I don't have a platinum check card, and they refund all of my ATM feeds, locally and abroad.

No, pretty sure all VPN apps do this. I use Private Internet Access, and when I'm connected to them my battery life is abysmal. My solution (I'm on Android): I have a Tasker profile set up to autoconnect to PIA when I connect to public Wi-Fi, but it shuts it down when I'm not on Wi-Fi. And I use an Xposed module to

I think that star anise lends itself better to Chinese cuisine than fennel seed. My lu shui would not taste the same without it.

Much easier: microwave the ice cream for 10-20 seconds, depending on how big the container is and how much ice cream there is. Makes it just soft enough to scoop without trouble.

Thanks for the suggestions! Still not entirely sure what's going on, but I got put on Dexilant, and that seems to help a lot. Cold brewed coffee is quite tasty either way!

You're not too old at all. I was about that age when I got into IT (after graduating from art school). I've been in IT for 17 years now and a developer for 15 of those years.
