Maybe. Those aren’t “hostages,” but that could be who Youssef’s talking about.

“And please free the hostages, all the hostages.”
“Western media only shows the [Israeli] side. Why do they do that, I will let you deduce for yourself.”
Tell that to the staff of this website, who all united to bravely defend him in one of the worst things ever published on here, which is increasingly saying something.
They were also almost entirely based on his likeable/relatable persona. Not that he wasn’t talented, but you didn’t see a Will Smith movie for the transformative acting work.
Plus his transitioning for the movie, then de-transitioning when filming wrapped.
It was a joke/sort of insult. That’s not an actual complaint.
This is the third comment to reference a hand job. Leftists really are trying to take after conservatives in their insistence on sticking to a talking point.
Not sure what you’re talking about (I’ve never complained about a comment), but you seem to be trying to come off as particularly mean-spirited. Not sure why, but assume it’s some personal frustration. How much do you make?
Finally, someone making sense.
Why do I have to *give* if I’m already the one defending him? Seems one-sided.
This comment has too many likes. It’s not original or creative.
This, admittedly, is not completely fair, but every time I hear one of these after-the-fact stories, I can’t help but think “how brave of this person to sit on the story right up until that celebrity becomes radioactive enough that I can share it with no risk.”
“Actor yelled at me 20 years ago” is not a news story.
The former. And I guess the latter to the extent that the former will threaten to sabotage an election if they don’t get what they want platform-wise.
That doesn’t mean the far left should be off limits to criticize.
Not so much that. More, get a load of these insufferable creeps trying to police language, get people they don’t like fired for minor infractions, defend rioting when it does, in fact, become violent, leave no room for diversity of thought while being simultaneously consumed with identity politics, and pretend like…
I’ve heard Maher say as much many times, which is why he still supports the Democrats because they haven’t gone as crazy as the Republicans. Anyone saying that he’s equating the two parties doesn’t watch him.
Doing his old MSNBC show as a podcast.
Okay, I’m pretty happy about this. Yes, he commits the unforgivable sin of pointing out when both the far right and far left are acting absolutely crazy instead of just the far right like he’s supposed to, but no one is perfect.
