Exactly, the commercials about these systems never show someone recognizing a problem only to be impressed because the system intervened more quickly than they could. Actually, if anything it was a bit underwhelming as a tug. It was easy to find it’s limits given that all the towing was done in reverse. The purpose built tug we had was far more maneuverable and could tow anything that could land on the 6000' runway.
