This is particularly rich coming from Luke
Only way they could’ve made it worse is just automatically assign everybody 12-digit friend codes like Nintendo still does
I want to buy my games solely on your “how many spidey-villains does it contain” metric, but I’m confused whether you’re complaining that there’s too few or too many villains. Please clarify. I won’t know how to feel about this game until you do
Honestly probably just once or twice, but I do often use controller on PC so I don’t think that’s (solely) it. 🤷
Also does anyone else relate to the screen proximity thing I mentioned?
I swear, when it’s on a TV at normal TV viewing distance I’m perfectly fine with 30fps, but as soon as I’m sitting arms-length or less from a screen I turn into a pixel pervert and nothing less than 60 will do.
It’s not that you’re a weirdo with no performance issues, it’s that you aren’t noticing them. Maybe you’re just not sensitive to dropped frames, or aren’t sitting very close to your screen, or aren’t trying to push a really high resolution, or not cultivated insanely high standards by spending an entire paycheck on…
Digital Foundry only called it “the worst we’ve seen all year” because they were paid not to talk about Hogwarts on PC
Nvidia is leaving gaming behind, and will happily let AMD overtake them in that space (10 or so years from now) while they pivot full-time onto AI, while also raking in geforceNow subscription money.
Cloud is where it’s at, Ethan. Look up
Thanks for the heads-up on the notes feature! That actually seems incredibly useful for single-monitor setups.
I’m sorry your game didn’t hold up to scrutiny, but that really isn’t relevant to the article or the case you decided to make
Nah, that just lets them know that making a PC port isn’t worth the hassle. Eventually they’ll just wise up and release them exclusively on Game Pass / Remote Play/ Geforce Now
I haven’t done the math, but going by your numbers, isn’t that just like having a 9-5? I think the take-away here is that a lot of life is wasted on making a living, and most of the time you’re not even enjoying it
I think the point you’re making is that framerate matters so much more than resolution
Hey, you know, when I don’t have a clue what I’m talking about, at least I’m upfront about it. I think doubling down makes you look even dumber than if you just admitted it.
Good luck with whatever else you’re struggling with.
Ps: An irrelevant citation is not a “take”. Hope this helps 🤗
None of your takes are based on reality, I think you should read your replies and reconsider
If the “gimmick” makes it’s great it’s not a gimmick. Have you ever considered the words you use?
To be fair, it was only different compared to the previous 4 (FOUR!) movies. It fits right in with the original trilogy in tone, narrative, and visual language
1. No choice
2. see above
The truly game-changing mods are exclusive to PC because the Switch can barely handle games in their released state, and adding more work on top of that leads to crashes more often than not
