In a world altered by devastating climate change and an ongoing pandemic
Were we watching the same show? It’s obviously Harper, a sociopath that has taken every chance to ruin people’s careers and sometimes lives when possible. In this episode, she used her sexual assault (now the second time she’s wielded it to save herself) to finalize a deal to get two coworkers fired for the reason of…
Absolutely loved this show and season from start to finish. The way every episode, especially in the latter half of the season, had its own distinct flavor and felt almost like a mini movie. The show is asking complex questions and induces a feverish anxiety and moral ambiguity for its characters like nothing else on…
This looks fantastic, but I’m starting to realize that Margot Robbie only has one American accent she can do.
honestly it’s also so powerful that she’s reclaiming Black ballroom culture that Gaga and Madonna have borrowed so much from, and bringing these lost AID related legacies back to life through a Black voice. She truly does feel unrivalled in todays pop star landscape, and this album just feels so big, so necessary and…
It is coherent though. This isn’t S1 or S2 where time was a knot you needed VERY specific visual ques to unravel. It’s a simple enough 2 decade time jump into a world Halores control.
There’s a tab for thinking that the world is the problem, not you? I’d take one of those right now.
I’ve been watching a lot of Scooby-Doo on HBO Max the past few weeks. They don’t have everything (no New Scooby-Doo Movies, 13 Ghosts, Pup Named, any TV/DTV movie made before Goblin King, and any DTV movie made after Gourmet Ghost), but it’s still a lot.

Beats me why it’s not on this list. But yes! S03 of _Love, Death + Robots_ was released yesterday. And it’s absolutely worth watching. I think it’s the best season so far. There’s still a lot of random violence and mayhem, but more emphasis on ‘story’. I especially liked the extremely faithful adaptation of Bruce…
The man who bought the school was none other than the recently departed Kevin Samuels.
I just finished On Operations yesterday. It’s an excellent look into the operational art (and why the “operational level of war” is a bad idea that shouldn’t be a thing), including several case studies of how operational art came into play in various battles, stretching from Napoleon to WW2.
Baltimore lost a real legend this weekend. Just found out a few hours ago that Traffic Jam Jimmy passed away on Saturday. Dude was one of the nicest people ever and watching him drive around on the morning news was always a treat. Ain’t gonna be the same without him.
Hippoooo!
It sure did! :) https://www.avclub.com/what-to-watch-on-tv-weekend-netflix-hulu-apple-tv-disne-1848849740
This is How You Lose the Time War is amazing. I instantly reread it which I never do. Can’t recommend it enough.
“The city of Baltimore is a poster child for the basic failure to stop lawlessness.”
Yep, this is Brian’s Emmy episode.
I’m 3/4 of the way through Dune, and this is easily the most boring sci-fi book I’ve ever read, and that’s really saying something because I’ve read The Book of Strange New Things.
