Today is the mid-season finale of Young Justice, which has been excellent so far. Hopefully everyone checks it out on HBO Max, as a renewal isn’t guaranteed.

My first thought reading the headline was, “Are they going to address the Jerry Harris situation?”, and there it is, right in the trailer. Which is of course the right thing to do, but that didn’t guarantee it was going to happen.

A lot about the final season and final episode rang hollow for me.

I can’t believe it’s taken them this long to realize that people really, really, really want a a longer version of the T-Rex running amok in relatable areas from The Lost World. This movie had really better be a bunch of dinosaurs running around being terrible in grocery stores and car dealerships and stuff because

Honestly, I love the first Jurassic World.

As it happens, I've mostly been reading Marvel comics this month (but not ALL of them!). They are easy to jump in and out of and my kids have been extra extra this month, so little snatches of time for reading vs trying to get into a novel has been the way to go for my escapism.

I will miss this show. It had its flaws but the acting, the comedy, the chemistry of the cast, more than make up for it. Vinnie Dickinson is my TV wife.

This review seemed oddly glib at points.

I was VERY disappointed in this season.
- The woman who plays Dodge is hardly in it, which was really disappointing. Especially considering I felt that she was the stand out star of last season.
- Most of the season felt like a setup for the last 2-3 episodes
- Eden was massively underutilized.
- What was even the point

HUZZAH! *smashes trailer*

DC’s response:

You know I’m somewhat of a fake trans person myself.

Bojack-esque? It’s a show about human frailty and cycles of inherited trauma?

So did the press release you’re rewriting make the Bojack comparison, or is it just that it’s about LA and some animals talk?

Is that really what people think Bojack is like?

I really hope the killer is  Skeet Ulrich playing himself.

I love both Haunted and House of Leaves (even though I’d say the latter really only works best on 2/3 of its various meta-levels), and I’d add:
