Hooray for the shoutout to ‘My Mad Fat Diary’! I mentioned it in the comments on another article just today. Actually sympathetic, actually funny, with a genuine fat (and gorgeous) actor in the lead role.

The two indicators on this label as to why this wine isn’t very good:

Honestly, I think the reaction of “this will end badly for Angel,” at least for my part, is because of Ryan Murphy’s involvement. I love this show, and I sit watching every episode with the fear that Murphy won’t be able to resist his baser impulses. But your last sentence is reassuring.

All the people who think Stan is going to kill Angel are projecting on the basis of stereotypical “tragic trans woman” narratives in the past (and on the basis of wrongly assuming that she’s based on Venus Xtravaganza). That’s not what this show is about, and Ryan Murphy has even said that no trans women are murdered…

If Billy Porter isn’t a fucking lock for an Emmy at this point, nothing makes sense in this world.

You remember that BoJack signed on to a detective show at the end of the last season, right? It seems pretty obvious that the image is a still from that show. I mean, maybe it isn’t, but that certainly seems like the most obvious conclusion to draw.

Can’t wait for all the poignancy, feels, and relatable depression that will once again be a massively cathartic event.
