I’ve been making my way through Chef the Show. Glad to see I’ll have more food related content once I’m done. Also, Top Chef is back soon too. I miss the recaps for that.

This is the scene I always think about when I think about this movie.
idk if ghostwriter was related to anyone, but he was definitely the ghost of a slave and that was definitely a wild choice in the part of the writers.
I personally loved the “it’s over 9000" joke. Totally caught me off guard.
Glad to know there is a name for the genre!
Along these lines, I suggest Deathless by Catherynne M. Valente. It was this work that lead me to Arden. I think I might prefer Valente’s style a little more though.
I’m also hype. I didn't expect new episodes so soon. Pleasantly surprised.
They did this on arthur
the academy is trying to ruin awards season for me. this is worse than seth mcfarlane.
I respectfully disagree. Her hair is amazing this season.
no crimson king reference in the comments yet?
I haven’t started yet, but I plan on picking up If Beale Street Could Talk in anticipation of the Barry Jenkins’ adaptation. I’m excited, I haven’t read Baldwin since high school.
I read Heads of the Colored People last month as a part of my Good Reads challenge. It was a pretty solid collection.
That last part is good to know. Thanks!
I am probably trained to feel this way, but Stan’s appearance at Angel’s job this episode made me feel uneasy.
They’re doing a similar thing with Craig of the Creek. Maybe they’re targeting the kids that just sit around the house all summer?
I’ll check out Summer Camp Island. I love a little whimsy in my life and the art style reminds me of Adventure time. In the very least it will hold me over until new episodes of Craig of the Creek (which should get more love)
The last season of BoJack was so amazing and totally deserves some awards recognition. I am excited to devour whatever is offered up next.
Looking forward to giving this a listen
I’m really enjoying Amy Nicholson and Paul Scheer’s new podcast, Unspooled. They’re going through the 2007 AFI 100 with the help of a 100 sided die.
