New York baseball player hurts himself, continues to play, ends up on the DL for a frustrating period of time. Most of this makes sense. I just can’t figure out why it happened to a Yankee.

My fingers are interfering with my Fritos Scoops.

Before the CJ haters come out of the woodwork, remember he did the world a service by beating Duke.

If it saved his life, I’m flummoxed why they’d call him a lummox.

I’ll bet he was drinking fake brews, too.

Just say “bill it to this guy, who is me”?

Kapler could also be a new, overzealous manager who hasn’t figured out every game is not worth going all-in on. (Agreed with the rest, though.)

So why didn’t you engage me? I replied to you; why is this an attack on the collective?

I dunno, I might eat at Drop The Blackened Bass.

If you mean “not a joke” as “not a device some people find humorous”, you’re right! Humor is subjective. Farce might not be your thing. But that’s fine.

The original joke was that Sanchez should take the same approach as Hader. But his situation is so markedly different from Hader, I thought it would be plainly absurd to anyone. Just like kids playing dress-up. It’s similar, but so different that there’s an absurdity to it.

I’ll bet you see a kid playing in grownups’ clothing and start screaming about safety hazards, instead of enjoying it for the farce it is.

From what I’ve learned about MLB players having really bad days in the past week, Sanchez should apologize for last night, saying those things happened a long time ago, and doesn’t reflect who he is as a player now.

Maybe he tells them he was being robbed by the machine, and not using it. That should get him a pass.

Big fucking deal.

It reads like longform Twitter.

As long as you make exceptions for the disabled and elderly, this is sound advice.
