I don't have to worry about seeing his new movie…
…because it's showing nowhere near the hick shithole I live in. I have to travel to Dallas area (about 180 miles away) for the nearest screening. And the town I'm in has 2 movie theatres. Shall I just say this is a predominately Republican Bible-Belt area?

WILD CARD, BITCHES!!!
Yeah, if the colonel was trying to take out the briefcase messengers, why not just shoot them or kidnap them, since he was so high speed. Why blow up 11 innocent people to get them? The colonel obviously had intelligence relating to when and where the targets were going to be.
She looks kinda classy in that photo, in a retro kind of way.
2 1/2 for me…. Dragonfly (not as horrible but just completely underwhelming), The New Guy, and parts of Babylon A.D., most of which I didn't pay attention to.
Please don't refer to Fox News as news programming.
Everyone knew healthcare had problems, but Sicko was a very good explanation of exactly how fucked the system is. My 14 year old sat paying rapt attention to the entire thing, and asked me dozens of questions after it was over. Maybe Moore's movies oversimplify the problems he takes on, but it was a real eye-opener…
I didn't get that Iraq was supposed to be a paradise before the invasion, just some shots of a bunch of families at an amusement park. It was meant to humanize those who are conveniently dehumanized when it comes time to bomb the shit out of their country. I spent all of 2005 in Iraq, and believe me, it ain't no…
I'm sure none of the AV Clubbers who sit glued to their keyboards all day are fat in any way. It's a really tired argument, that Michael Moore's fat. So is 60% of the rest of America.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: FUCK CHARLTON HESTON. I don't care if he was a senile old coot, he willingly put himself out there as the face of the NRA, so he got whatever anyone could dish out. Surely he wasn't so out of touch, or his handlers weren't, that they didn't know who Michael Moore was or…
Not sure if World War Z has occurred in this dimension yet or not.
I watched MST3K back in the day, but at the time I just kind of thought it was one of those shows that would be around for ever. Now, I wish I'd caught more on their original run.
I'm just finishing up "Primeval" on TiVo, and I have to agree, it's like a revolving door on the cast. I don't even try to keep up anymore, just watch it for the Dinosaur-of-the-week. It's a very silly show, yet entertaining. Fringe is approximately 12 times better than Primeval, though.
Colonel Broyles
Okay, Broyles has been with Fringe or X Division through I forget how many decades and "six wars." I'm assuming we're talking U.S. wars here. If you discount skirmishes like the invasions of Grenada and Panama, we're talking Iraq, Afghanistan, Desert Storm, then what? Vietnam, Korea, WW2? Does the…
Mountain Battles is good. I threw it in my ipod with all the other Breeders stuff, and when mixed in with the old stuff you can hardly tell what's new and what's old. So there.
The worst thing about the POTC movies is that they go on, and on, and on, and on…….
Cancelled, but I read the producers were trying to shop it to other networks.
I bought the special director's edition or whatever of Army of Darkness and was disappointed by the new ending, which Raimi evidently prefers. Much prefer the theatrical ending, where he's kicking ass in S-Mart. But the DVD I have doesn't give you the option, I showed it to my kid and that's the only version he…
