Bubo action.

Leslie Nielsen looked the same the day he died at 80-something as he did guest-starring on an episode of "Mannix" 35 years ago.

I'm confused, why does everyone keep referring to the murinals as "murals"?

I liked Rock Me Amadeus alright.  But Der Kommissar is in regular rotation on my media player, unironically.

Wasn't Trio a Canadian channel that was shown in the U.S.?  Too lazy to go to Wikipedia.

I LOVED Crime Story when it first aired….bought Season 1 a couple of years ago, and it sure felt dated.  I know it's a period piece, but some of the acting, dialogue, stories, editing, etc. just didn't seem as good as I remembered.

How great was it to come in from a night of hard partying and STILL be able to catch a 3-hour block of Night Flight?

The hat was definitely a deal breaker for me.   I was unreasonably pissed off every time I saw the fucking hat on previews, and in my rage I refused to watch.  Seriously.

Reluctance not needed.  It is simply one of the most entertaining escapist movies ever made, and always will be, not matter what technology is they come up with.

I was going to point that out but thought I'd leave it to The Guy on the Internet That Points Things Out.

But it had Beau Bridges!  BEAU BRIDGES!!!

I always watch "Fire in the Sky" when it comes on.  The entire movie is basically a mystery, a missing person drama, then all of a sudden at the end, you get the alien experimentation, in all its semi-graphic glory, and totally throws you in relation to the rest of the film.

"Them!" is on this Sunday afternoon on TCM, FYI.

"Bridges at Toko-Ri" (1954), one of my favorite old movies.  ***SPOILERS***  Korean War, William Holden's jet is shot down at the end and Micky Rooney/Earl Holliman come in on a dinky little helicopter to rescue him.  It, too, is shot down and they are all surrounded by North Koreans.  How do our heroes get out of

I always noticed that about the horses.  There's some William Shatner spaghetti western were the horses galloped in a way that can only be called "dignified".  Like he was riding a Lippizaner stallion in the Old West.

Norman is full of strip malls, housing subdivisions, a traffic-clogged interstate, and Starbucks and Subways just like everywhere else in America.

The trailer actually reminded me of Ronin.  I thought maybe they got DeNiro to try to recapture some of what Ronin had. Guess not.

I believe the A's have moved beyond mediocre and into suck territory.  Plus, they have bad punctuation, as they always write their name as "A's".

No Lifetime, I think it was CW or WB or whatever they had back in those days.

And Gerard Butler yet lives…..
