She hasn’t been kicking footballs through uprights her entire life. She’s been playing a completely different sport. The point is, comparing her to guys who have been doing this specific skill for years is a little disingenuous, but your defensiveness is encouraging.

Unfortunately, while good male kickers’ tackling ability isn’t under a microscope, hers absolutely will be the first time she misses a tackle, even if she’s perfect on kicks. Because that’s how most NFL fans work.

You’re right that the MSM motor would be a bad idea, but the MS Miata’s engine is a completely different family from the engine in the MS3, which is the Mazdaspeed people are referring to.

That was the logic, but that was also six years and two moves ago. The wagon went to a buddy two years ago to make room for my dad’s NC. Now I have only a JK Wrangler that I drive maybe once a week.

Same here.  I sold my RX8 and kept my E46 wagon when we moved from Philly-Denver, b/c “practical.”  Stupid.

I have a friend who did the swap for SM autoX class. He’s pretty happy with it.
