Such an iconic colour
Ford also hopes that this time it will get the initial build quality for a new model launch right…
Funny thing about railroad tracks - that’s where the TRAINS are. Train tracks are these really obvious things with long metal rails and concrete or wood things connecting them, surrounded by crushed rock. You really can’t miss them.
On the one hand, sure. On the other hand, death by train is perhaps the easiest type of death to avoid already, and I’m not sure how possible it is to prevent a determined suicide.
Marketing that chases away half the population is dumb.
Wow, just wow. I gave up after a couple minutes. I just can’t handle that much stupid and bad acting.
When he says “brotherhood” I keep hearing the word “Aryan” in front of it.
It’s the car they* didnt want you** to have.
Finally, an electric car for us assholes!
Are they trying to win over the proudly poorly educated group that will not change their views in the face over overwhelming science and research studies?
My hot take, which I have said over and over and over again: if we want more cool little sports cars, we need better public transit.
A bicyclist also ran in front of the train this weekend in the same town https://www.clickorlando.com/traffic/2024/01/15/video-brightline-train-narrowly-misses-bicyclist-in-melbourne/.
Trains are not at fault for drivers trying to beat them across the tracks.
...they weren’t profitable...
Yeah the "footprint rule" is unintended consequences writ large.
I can only imagine the room you’re sitting in as you type this. I can imagine the smell, considering my family had several nasty hoarders. You know you can do better, but you refuse to. You think it’s good enough, and that you’re focusing on the more important stuff, like DC-area pizza basements.
Just because there are options doesn’t mean people will take them. I’m not creating excuses for these people; you shouldn’t drink and drive. But it should be obvious that more options likely reduce drunk driving even more.
It’s not just a cultural problem; it’s a infrastructure problem. Europe has way better public transit options. That has to have a huge impact on drunk driving rates.
You know what would reduce drunk driving significantly? Well-funded public transportation infrastructure and walkable communities.
