Yeah, not much is affordable. The Maverick as a hybrid was a decently priced vehicle but now having it as a hybrid is now more expensive since it’s no longer the base setup. And the Buick Envista is a lot of bang for the buck but sadly no hybrid or EV options available for that model.

Every one of these cars has well over 100k miles! The Model 3 didn’t make this list because it didn’t meet the critera that I laid out.

I will defend the left turn arrow. No it’s not warranted at every single intersection, but it is really necessary in certain spots where you would probably need to sit through 4 or 5 light cycles before you could even hope to get a gap. 

People underestimate the distance they can easily travel on a bike. Especially something like an e-bike that can either assist with power or flat out propel you all by itself for many miles. You don’t have to bike every single day. It’s not an all-or-nothing situation. I definitely wouldn’t on bad weather days or when it’s really hot, but there are still a lot of days that it would be great.
