What this poor woman has been through...I can’t even imagine. Losing her independence like that for so long was criminal. I wish her all the best.

Honestly, I think most people’s knowledge of the story begins and ends with the Disney film. And that's fine, I guess. Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

I feel like many, many incels will have big problems with this movie. Surely a movie about strong women is an attempt to emasculate men, after all.

What does it matter if you’re first when no one will see your comment and none of the writers give a shit you took the time to comment on their story?

Hey look! There's 13 comments but only 8 can be seen because no one gives enough of a shit to approve people in the greys! What a fun way to engage with people!

You know, it’s really frustrating to want to comment and engage with other readers and not be able to. Well, unless an approved person is generous enough to star your comment. What exactly do you have to do to get approved? Is anyone even listening?

I don't understand the title to this article, is it in reference to something posted incessantly for the last two months?

This sounds terrible. It’s the first Marvel TV project I’m legitimately disinterested in. Which is a pretty good track record, but...damn, this just sounds awful.

Ugh, so Dan Levy's still a thing, huh?

I hope it’s a fitting send-off for the character, I really do. Maybe they should have ended it with Last Crusade, but they didn’t; so give Ford and Indy a better goodbye than poor Han got. I’m rooting for this movie to be good, damn it.

Wow, only three episodes centered on Ahsoka? Admirable restraint on Filoni’s part indeed!

You know, it’s sad. Iran has such a fun and vibrant culture, but the country has been under the thumb of a theocratic regime for far too long. And the whack jobs in Tehran won't give up without a fight, which will end up hurting the citizenry the most. I guess we can thank my country tis of thee for that. Good for

Yes, it really captures just how big space is and how small we are in comparison. Subsequent films and series (even DS9) treated outer space much like an ocean, and the whole "Trek" concept suffered for it. The Federation, hell, the entire galaxy felt tiny by the end of the Berman era. TMP, on the other hand, made

TMP is probably the most underrated Trek movie. It’s slow, it’s ponderous, it’s downright silly at times; but even so, it’s Star Trek in its purest form. No movie since has captured the fear and wonder of what’s actually out there, and how small we are when we’re up against it. It’s a beautiful, sincere failure of a

How does this woman keep getting work? She's an awful actress.

I don't think anyone has ever been more enamored of their own original characters than Dave Filoni.

Does the Star Wars universe really need a Luke expy while Luke is still around? Or at all?

Well, they called her Lady Flo and that just sounds gross.

Whatever happened to the AV Club’s weekend open thread?

SNW is by far the best Star Trek show on the air. It’s not even close.
