Actually,
Actually,
Tangentially related: I was getting out of my car at Smoothie King Monday when 3 A-10 Warthogs flew overhead in tight formation. I started clapping and giggling right there on the sidewalk like an idiot. Excellent footage!
“Just because it hasn’t happened, doesn’t mean it never will”
A lack of a military force is an ideal to aim for, but I understand that it’s not really achivable; That doens’t mean we need the size of military we have.
If a country’s government isn’t determined by its own people, it’s not a legitimate government. This is derived from Locke and Milton and is the principle upon which our own country exists, per Declaration of Independence:
You know, it’s entirely possible to believe Assad is a thug who shouldn’t be leading a country AND also believe that ISIS and the FSA are horrible terrorists who need to be destroyed.
ISIS wants to engage us in a ground battle because it falls in line with their “end times” prophecy/theory.
I mean, before there were fighters over no man’s land, there were observation planes. And then people decided it might be a good idea to bring these observation planes down, so they started making fighters.
Is America really war weary? We lose more people every year from drunk drivers than we lost in the whole of OIF/OEF combined over 10 years. Americans sacrificed absolutely nothing while an All Volunteer Force that is something less than 1 percent of the population did all the deploying and fighting. The only people…
I’m with you there. No one benefits from that scenario. NATO already knows it can defeat the S-400, their public comments to the contrary, not withstanding. But actually defeating the system would involve an act that could end up being WW3.

Calm down there, Satan.
Satellites are top-down (essentially), drones are more on ground level, so you can see height of things, shadows, etc. Drones also don’t have a regular schedule like satellites do, so that means they’re a greater security threat...
Oh my God these dead innocent civilians that weren’t even killed by Americans! Its obviously the Americans that spilled their blood!
not that im endoring an open revolt against the Feds, but this idea that high technology somehow makes Revolution impossible is just flat out untrue.
as Big down there mentioned, we have been having HELL trying to stop the Iraqi and Afghan Forces from making their pushes, and while we have stalled them from a combined…
Battleships have never been great weapons of war, ever.
You might call this version a...Daesh Cam...
Air Force brass love proof of concept stuff. You can train for decades for 35+ hour duration missions but actually planning and executing an operation that shows the training is valid sure looks good as a bullet point on the resume when you’re up for a star.
China keeps NK in business, period. For a lot of reasons.
